BODIES ARE LAID TO REST FACING DUE EAST AND WEST.  I CHECKED 2 TOWNS
WITH A COMPASS AND IT'S TRUE.

Which country is "this" country?

'This' country is always the UK.

Anywhere else is 'That' country.

Maybe Google need to remind people that the world is a big place, and
that things sometimes get confused when other people dont know where
we are. For example, Bryan, from my perspective, Scotland is "This"
country and England is "That" country , while at the same time being
"This" country.

Confused? You will be.

The practice is an acknowledgement, at least in terms of Christian
beliefs, that when Jesus Christ returns to the earth for the Second
Coming, he will come from the east; thus, when the dead who are buried
are resurrected, they will be facing him when they arise from their
graves (assuming their heads are at the west end of the graves, which
is indeed usually the practice).

Today, I checked a Christian (Anglican) graveyard in 'this' country (the UK). 

In my home town of Hove actually.

The graves were rather higgledy-piggledy with head stones facing N, S, E & W.

However, there did seem to have been an effort to follow the main
points of the compass.
