Question ID: 355174
i want to set up a linux machine with two nic(s) to act as a NAT device.
Each set of addresses will be across the two nics (ie in one and out the other)
Nic addresses are eth0 = 1.2.3.1 and eth1 = 5.6.7.1
Translate address 1.2.3.4 port 23 to 5.6.7.8 port 1053 - no other
ports to be enabled
Translate address 1.2.3.5 port 23 to 5.6.7.8 port 1054 - no other
ports to be enabled
Translate address 1.2.3.6 all ports to 5.6.7.9 all ports
Translate address 1.2.3.7 port 8080 to 117.208.29.41 port 8080 - no
other ports to be enabled
I don't want to use a gui interface. I want to set the information in
a config file.
The machine will be booting up from a cd and ideally the config file
will be on a fdd so it can easily be altered.
