I am using windows xp and internet explorer. I have accessed an web-based email account that requires an account login with a password. I inadvertantly told it to remember my password for future logins, but am having difficulty finding how to undo this. That is, i want it to ask for a password in the future. Thanks. |

Hi skip9801, I found an excellent article for you, complete with screen shots. Internet Explorer?Web Login AutoComplete Passwords: http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/Pub0009/LPMArticle.asp?ID=348 Following their instructions, first try going to a website where you know the dialogue box will pop-up and double-click where you would enter your ID. Point to the entry you want to delete and hit the delete key. If that doesn't work there are directions on what to do in your registry. That should do it. If you have any questions, please post a clarification request before closing/rating my answer and I'll be happy to reply. Thank you, hummer Google Search Terms Used: internet explorer saving passwords |
