For a market study on a proposed movie project, I am trying to
identify any and all movies (but particularly those that are
well-known or were commercially successful) which have as their main
theme or focus,
either a rich person or the effort (by any means, including criminal)
to get rich. Both US and non-US movies are of interest, and I would
appreciate knowing (a) title and (b) year it was made or released,
along with (c) a very short blurb describing the story (one sentence
is fine). Any additional information is nice but not necessary. For
example: 1. Sabrina, 1954. Rich guy (Bogart) falls for chauffeur's daughter.
 2. Money Train, 1995. Transit cops (Harrelson, Snipes) try to
heist, then protect, subway train full of money. 3. Heist, 2001.
Thieves (Hackman, deVito) steal gold shipment. The more answers the
better, please! :)

Dear InkVisitor,

Researchers are usually reluctant to answer questions that ask for
"all" of anything because it's usually impossible to make sure that
you've found "all". Maybe, if you defined how many films you're
looking for, it would have been easier to answer the question.

In addition, the question you've asked will take considerable research
(since not only the list of films with that plot have to be found, but
for each we have to write a "blurb"). You might want to check out the
pricing guidelines.

Good feedback, thanks. Let's see -- my use of "all" was not
appropriate, but perhaps indicative of my desire to have more rather
than less. There is no magic number -- although hoping to be as
comprehensive as possible (else the survey may have noticeable gaps),
I would nonetheless be happy with a list showing 25 or 30 movies,
recognizing that for one who lives and breathes movies it may be
possible to come up with 10 or more classics off the top of the head
that fit the bill. But I am unclear on what a given researcher will
already know, and what needs to be looked up. As for blurbs, I only
need enough to confirm that the movie is on point, certainly nothing
like a detailed plotline, etc. Also, I do not need actors, directors,
etc., as I will be able to look those up fairly quickly once the movie
title and its general thrust are known.
