I went to two sites with extensive listings of QMS Magicolor 2
Desklaser drivers. I also downloaded a number of compressed (zip)
files and decompressed them to see if this file was hiding somewhere
in them.

Here are all the drivers at QMS:

Here is a 3rd party list of drivers:

There are a number of driver files qmsmc2d.dll and a number of files
that have similar names, but nothing as you list it exactly:

   qmsmc2dl.drv

Could you respond to this clarification request as to what operating
system you're using? If this is this something cropping up as an error
message, could you transcribe the error message exactly? It's easy to
have typographical errors for gibberish looking driver files like this
so I'm just re-checking.

If you haven't made any mistakes, I just can't find this driver!

The website asks you for a user and password, just cancel it and then
it will give you the chance of sing up. Once you have singed up you
can go to the URL again and you will get the file for free.
