Where in the world is the most RAM manufactured(City/Country) and what percent of the worlds RAM does it manufacture? |

Hello. South Korea manufactures the most RAM. Last year, the country's market share was about 43 percent. source: Electronic News, 5/12/2004, "Market Forces Threaten Korean Strongholds in Electronics" http://www.reed-electronics.com/electronicnews/article/CA417081 ------- Specifically, most of the South Korean memory fabs are near the city of Seoul. Samsung and Hyundai are two of the top South Korean memory manufacturers. Samsung's memory fabs are mostly in KIHEUNG, which is near Seoul. Hyundai's memory fabs are in ICHON, which is also close to Seoul.
