I have looked at two companies: Invision (iv.com) and Medea Group
(medeagroup.com). Both companies seem to provide similar services.

Basically I want more information about how companies like these
operate. Their websites don't offer a lot of inside information. ie.
How do they approach big companies? How do they coordinate large
events that are far from their offices? How do they compete with
companies that are willing to lowball them? It is questions like these
that I'm looking for answers. I want to learn how to speak their
lingo.

My other question is: do companies like these hire production
assistants? If so, what sort resposibilities might be involved? Would
it be a good avenue to move up in a company like this? I have some
research experience in human factors psychology and management
experience in the restaurant industry (as a GM).

I deeply admire the geniuses working for "Google Answers". By no means
do I expect an answer to each question I asked, however it'd be
impressive. Have no fear in jumping right in, I will ask for
clarification if necessary. This is my first time using the service,
but I'm a long-time "lurker". Look foward to hearing from one of you
