Quick start menu icons on the Start menubar of Windows XP desktop keep
on flickering every second. I cannot figure out what causes it. I
tried to shutdown pretty much all the apps and services but it keeps
on blinking. The other parts of the Start menu bar - the Start button,
the tray icons, the apps buttons are find. The other parts of the
screen are fine too. Can you please help finding whether this is
indeed a known issue? I would accept as an answer a description of a
similar encounter by others with some resolution options. Thanks.
