Question ID: 356640
I have read few doctors are experimenting with injecting pancreas
cells from other humans or pigs into patients (young children mostly)
with type 1 diabetes.

The doctors I have read about are:
1) Doctors from Alberta, Canada - experimenting transferring pancreas from humans;
and
2) Dr. Valdez from Mexico City, Mexico - transferring pancreas from pigs.

My questions are:
1) How successful are they? Any follow up info on the patients?

2) How can I contact them?

3) Are there any other doctors out there performing similar services
to help cure or decrease effects of diabetes type 1?

4) Any other info that might be helpful..

Thanks,
Alex
