I am trying to find out about the Christian Defence League and
particularly stuff related to its activities in London from (say) 1930 to 1940
but the years 1939 & 1940 are my main focus.

A G-Search has brought up masses of stuff but I lack the skills to
refine this satisfactorily to the two aspects that really interest me.

There are mentions of a Catholic CDL; an anti-Jewish CDL; and a
post-war CDL which may or may not be related. Sorting this out
would be great.

I am sure that someone can again show me how it should be done, using
sources other than the Big G as necessary.

Incidentally, I already know the name of the Assistant Secretary in
this context and anything new that you can throw up on this person
will be a bonus.

Many thanks for your Comment but the name was deliberately withheld
and I don't know of any way of sharing this with you without revealing
it to the World and His Wife. We must think of a way around this.
