I need to know if there is a reciprocity agreement between NY state
and California for a Cosmetology License. I currently have a valid,
active cosmetology license from California, and I have moved to NY,
and want to be licensed by the state of NY, without having to retake
the exams. I am in the NY metro area. Where would I find the laws
that relate to this?

Hello dixiejack-ga,

Unfortunately, there is no reciprocity between California and New York
for cosmetology.
