Hello johnterryjr

I found some information online about official requirements for
running a pharmacy in Sri Lanka, but not much detail. It looks as if I
would be able to find you the basic rules and names of the authorities
involved, but the information is patchy, and there's no chance of
finding a step-by-step explanation.

Also, I've found information that suggests some people bypass the rules. 

How detailed an answer do you need? 

Any further comments on what you're hoping for would be helpful.

well, whatever information you can find within reason - i understand
that you may not be able to write a ste-by-step explanation but things
like how to bypass thigns would be interesting - and things like if I
need to hire a pharmacist and the physical requirements of the
business location like does it need to be airconditionend, does it
need to have a minimum size in squaremeters, does it need to have 1 or
2 doors, does there need to be a refrigerator for the medicine, does
the owner need to be a pharmacist or is it okay simply to hire one.
   If your answer is more detailed then I am prepared to add a bonus of 20 USD

I'm afraid I wasn't able to find anything about design of the premises.
Let's hope another researcher can discover more.
