On an ongoing up-to-date Monthly basis I would like to know for the
U.S. Retail "New Car" (including Light trucks, SUV's etc.) Market:
1) Just Prior Months'Sales (as of end of the just prior month) by
Make and Model (i.e. Acura TL, Chrysler 300c, etc) broken down by state,
city, zip, area code.

2) Dealer inventory (as of the start of the current month) by Make and
Model (i.e. Acura TL, Chrysler 300c, etc) broken down by state, city,
zip code, area code.

When I say "Just prior month" I mean, for example,if we are in June
2004 then the "just prior months' sales is the total retail sales for
each make and model for the entire month of May 2004.

I know of a couple sources for this type of information, but they're
fee-based. Would you be interested in this type of thing as an
answer?

I am looking for Unit Sales and unit inventory. Dollar value is not as important.

If the data I need is only available on a fee based Database I would
need to know the credability of the source, the appoximate cost and
perhaps see a live report with a sampling of results before proceeding
fully.

To give you an idea of the price of such info: One particular source
has it for about $90,000.
