I am planning to open an ice cream parlor business in Nevada where I
will be offering ice creams served in unique ways (such as "Baked
Alaska", etc.) Can you provide me with a short list of companies
(Branded or non branded) that may be qualified to produce a reasonably
broad selection of flavors and types of ice creams for a full ice
cream parlor operation?

I?ve located dozens of possible manufacturers/distributors of ice
cream for your new ice cream parlor. What criteria should I use to
develop a ?short list of companies?? Also, where are you located? You
may want to use California or other out of state sources depending on

Hi czh-ga,

I will be in Las Vegas. Southern CA is fine, in fact anywhere in CA is
fine, as is Arizona as well.

Optimally the list can be as long as 20 or more companies or as short
as 5 or 6. Hopefully I can find a supplier that makes dozens of
flavors or more, as well as some low fat and low-carb variations.
Quality is very important to me. I would want the product to be on the
upper end of quality -- high butter fat content as exemplified by such
brands as Ben & Jerry?s or Haagen Daas.
