We would like to know the age distribution of membership in local
historical societies in the United States. Our thesis is that they
are made up of elderly individuals. Ideally, if we knew the age range
over the past 30 or 40 years that would be great, because our thesis
is also that the membership is growing older. If you need additional
focus, we are primarily interested in rural historical societies.
