I downloaded a program (Tracktion, from www.mackie.com) and paid for it but can't open it. It's a .DM file and my Mac doesn't know what to do with .DM files. When I did a Web search for Macintosh and .dm I got no worthwhile results. I tried opening it with Stuffit Expander but Expander just quit. Rig: 17" Macintosh Powerbook with 2 Gigs RAM, 1.33 GHz PowerPC G4, and OS X 10.2.8. Hard disk is 60 Gigs (I think) with at least 50 gigs free. Edirol AudioCapture UA-20 for audio and MIDI in/out. | |

A .dmg file is a Macintosh "disk image". Download it and save it on your computer, then open it from within the Mac OS rather than the browser.
