There are a ton of mp3 players out there. Can you name a few pocket
ones that are small in size (not the CD kind) but with enough
capacity to play the entire Bible without reloading media?

Some of their literature is a little confusing. Thankyou.

I found a reference to an audio version of the KJV requiring 860
megabytes of space, so I would expect that any player with a gigabyte
or more of storage would meet your needs. Here's some info about
loading the Bible onto an iPod.(WARNING: although the page linked
below contains useful information, it also has an obscene word
prominently displayed at the top of the page.)

You may want to check out this site, which offers a variety of audio
Bible files for download:

Audio Bibles
http://rejoicesoftware.com/audio.htm
This company's audio NIV bible comes as 64 or 66 standard CDs, or 7
MP3 CDs. A CD holds about 700MB of data, so that would mean the bible
would require about 5 GB of storage space.

Almost any portable MP3 player will be pocket size. What you need to
do is purchase your copy of the Bible (audio version) so you know how
big it is. Each version will be slightly different, but it seems that
5 GB is about right for the spoken version of the full Bible. (A
minute of audio compressed in the MP3 format is about 1 MB. 1 GB is
1000 MB. 5 GB = 5,000 minutes.)

Now, what MP3 players are there of that size?

A nearby consumer electronics store will have what you need. Just
tell the salesperson that you need at least 5 GB of storage (I'd go
with more, to be safe).

Or, you can buy online from, say, Amazon. Amazon calls players with
enough memory for a few CDs an mp3 player, and a player with enough
memory for your whole collection a "jukebox". You want a jukebox.

The Apple iPod is very, very popular, and for a reason. It is very
easy to use, first and foremost. A 10 GB iPod is about $250,
nowadays.
