I'm looking for images (lithographs, etchings, sketches,
illustrations) of the classical Greek/Roman images frequently seen in
classical and neo-classical design. For example, swags, garlands,
wreaths, gods and goddesses. The designs used on Wedgwood Jasperware
are exactly what I'm looking for. |

Can you please clarify the question a little for me? What sort of
images are you looking for (flat clipart type images or photos of
actual pieces) and how are they going to be used?
If you are simply looking for examples of Wedgwood Jasperware, take a look here:
http://images.google.com/images?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=Wedgwood+Jasperware
If you would like further examples of pictures of Wedgwood Jasperware
I can provide you with a fuller answer.

Hello,
I'm looking for flat clipart-type images that I can use in a brochure
for an antique shop. I mentioned the images found on Jasperware as
being an example of the classical motifs I'm looking for.
Thanks very much.

Dear jhaydn-ga,
Would you be interested in an off-line source? I can recommend them.
The company supply a book with a CD-Rom containing up to 600 copyright
free designs. They have a large range of different books for various
period ornanments, borders and historical motifs. The books costs
$14.95. The images have been scanned at 600 DPI and are saved in six
different formats.
As I cannot link you directly to the images and you have to purchase
the book, you may wish to change your price on this question to
reflect this possible answer. Or, of course, you can wait until one of
my fellow researchers found an online source for you.

Hello,
I'd be very interested in that CD-ROM if it really has high-quality
classical images I can use. I would like the card 5.00 for my
question, since I will now have to buy a CD-ROM. Please let me know
the name of the CD-ROM. Thanks.
