I have a KAVO Plasma EDTV. When I set my DVD output to progressive scan, my TV doesn't seem to be able to decode the signal. Only when I choose the interlace option will my TV work. I was under the impression that most, if not all Plasma should accept progressive scan. KAVO is now bankrupt and I can't seem to pull any info from the Internet. But I was told that KAVO licensed the production of the TV to Samsung, so the TV has all Samsung parts. Anyway, my question is, does my TV accept progressive scan? Andd if it does, how can setup my TV to accept it? |

YOu may need to adjust the settings in your function menu. Something like INPUTS is where you should look. Don't know anything specifically about KAVO TVs, never even heard of them, in fact, but assuming their engineers used even an ounce of logic in building a TV, chances are your solution is in your function menu. |

I've checked every setting in the menu option. Anything that resembles the input option only has these choices: input from Cable, DVD, PC, VHS. My TV should support Progressive Scan, no? |

Go into "input from DVD" - see what other options exist? Otherwise, try calling Samsung Customer Support. |
