I had a 1972 Chevelle SS, but couldn't afford to keep it. In 1983 I
sold it to a guy in Victorville, California. The only information I
have on it, other than year, make, model and colors (blue w/white
stripes) is CA license plate number at that time: 986 VOR
I don't want to know where to search, I want someone to find where the
car is now - at least the last known registered address. If you
already have the resources/data bases and can tell me what I want to
know there's an extra $50 in it.

Do you have anything with the VIN number on it? Without that
information, it's pretty hard to trace a vehicle.

The only information I have is the California license plates that were
current in 1983 - 986VOR - that's why I posted my question/request for
assistance here. Thanks.

You may try contacting the California DMV at 1-800-777-0133.  They
would be able to tell you if they can run a search on the vehicle
information.
