Dear jcf,

I have been searching for a company to travel by train in Germany and
I could find "Die Banh" ( http://www.banh.de ). If you don´t speak
German you can go to the following link in English (
http://persoenlicherfahrplan.bahn.de/bin/pf/query-p2w.exe/en?newrequest=yes&protocol=http:
).

The journey will take you between 8 and 9 hours, and you have to
change between 3 or 6 times, it depends on the time you want to take
the train. The standard fare is around 43,60 EUR one way.

You can order the ticket online, even you can print a map with the
details of the conexions, aditional transportation and more. It´s only
in German but you can use the Google´s Translation Tool whose link to
the website you need is (
http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bahn.de%2Fpv%2Ffahrkarten%2Fsubhome%2Fdie_bahn_fahrkarten.shtml&langpair=de%7Cen&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF8&prev=%2Flanguage_tools
).

If you need further information about your question I will answer it
without any problem. I can speak German, so I can find more
information for you. Anyway, if you use the link of the Google´s
Translation Tool you will find what you want.

Thank you for using Google Answers.

Alejandro Pérez.

Hi, I also used the DB train system to find a route (I used it myself
all last summer, as it keeps track of all routes throughout Europe,
not just Germany.)

When I ran a search on your two cities (Bruchsal and Jestetten), I
came up with a direct route and a duration of 3-4 hours without
changing trains. The pricing tended to be about 50 euro.

Definitely try this out yourself with your specific dates and
requirements, and good luck!

More tips on train-fare in Germany:
(1) Students can get a discount;
(2) Further discount can occour if you buy a membership-card of the
Bahn;
(3) "Schoene Wochenende" is a ticket that allows you (up to 5 people)
to fare in weekends as far as you can/want for E28 (about $28).
(4) If you reserve ahead, you might get another discount.

Have a great trip!
