Question ID: 358997
I have created a 3 minute video short using Adobe Premiere which I
will be posting on a website. Just like the trailers seen on the big
movie websites, I would like to be able to offer a large screen,
mid-screen and small-screen version of the video (depending of course
on how much download time and how big a file people want to deal
with). The Hollywood movie websites all seam to feature Quicktime as
the standard. My question -- exporting my movie from Premiere, what
type of compression should I be using, and what three different pixel
sizes -- if I want to replicate the kind of quality and options seen
on these movie sites?

Not just what type of video settings, but audio settings --
compression and otherwise -- as well.

Seems there's no "industry standands", just some suggestions, for
examples, a 4:3 video may use following resolution and bitrate.
BIG 480x360	300k
MED 360x270	150k
SML 240x180	50k
only suggestions, no standards. of coz, a wide-screen may looks like a
real film, while a common 4:3 looks like a home video :)

My favorite for video compression into Quicktime is Sorenson3.
