There was this cool American Indian Song the famous underground (then)
FM radio station, WBCN (104.1) in Boston used to play in the 70's. I
believe it contained the lyric at the end of a chorus that said,
"Makes feel glad that I'm not dead". I would love to lo0cate that
song!

Hello.

I believe that you're thinking of "Witchi-Tai-To" by Jim Pepper.

See:

...
War spirit's feet are swinging round my head
Makes me feel glad that I'm not dead..."

There have been multiple versions of this song by several different
artists. See the Allmusicguide.com:

You can listed to clips of various versions at TowerRecords.com:

Brewer & Shipley:

search strategy:
lyrics "feel glad" "not dead"
 "Witchi-Tai-To" "not dead"

I hope this helps.
