What is the cost per square foot for construction of modern resort bungalows on islands in the Bay of Honduras? I need several specific instances by island location, date of completion and name of developer. |

My guess is local craftmen will have a steep learning curve to build to some definitions of modern. Slightly rustic, $10 USA per square foot; Slightly better $30 per square foot as much of the equipment, tools, material and labor will need to be brought in for the job. Do you expect to include roads, side walks, ponds, docks and other resort amenities in the square feet of the bungalows? Neil |

Modern bungalow would mean: single story, fully airconditioned, modern appliances, modern bath/kitchen/laundry, up to date construction materials, and resort quality design and style. A garage would not necessarily be included. No general resort site services or infrastructure costs would be included. The unit of measure does not have to be square feet, square meters would be fine. Nor does the monetary unit have to be US$, any foreign currency, as long as it is identified, will do just fine. |
