Poki is a very robust, useful Java-coded object oriented poker game that you could use as a template. http://spaz.ca/aaron/poker/src/ I had less success with the Pokea library although I stopped working with it once I found Poki http://sourceforge.net/projects/pokea/ |

Poki does not include a GUI, but I found interfacing with the MODEL very intuitive and go a working prototype very quickly. It is designed primarily for Hold 'Em, but found the class structure to be easily extensible |
