I just found out the wedding invitations I had picked out for over a
year have been discontinued. I am desperate to find out who else sells
this style of invitation. By style, I mean the translucent white paper
(vellum?) embossed with the sheer leaf pattern shown at
http://makeashorterlink.com/?I59F23A88.

If you can find another retailer of this invitation design, I would be
forever grateful.

Sorry, the link doesn't seem to be pointing to the right picture. Try this one:

http://makeashorterlink.com/?D1A212098

It should be for the Sheer Leaves invitation. All I need is the sheer
white wrap that's embossed with a trailing leaf / vine patter, which
they no longer list since it's discontinued. If this link doesn't
work, click on the Invitations button at the top, then All
Invitations. It's on the bottom right of the first page.

Greetings, starlightgazer!

Unfortunately, many (if not most) of the wedding invitation retailers
who have Internet shops (and who are not making their own hand-made
invitations) actually forward your order to the manufacturer in
exchange for a cut of your price; they rarely have any stock on hand.
If the manufacturer has discontinued a design, it may be very
difficult to find any stock left in existence.

Would you be willing to accept as an Answer a list of suggestions for
similar-style invitations, and if so, how many items would be
acceptable?

Thanks,

aceresearcher

Hi again. Sorry it took so long to respond this time...my Google
Answers emails were stuck in a junk mail folder.

I am really looking for this particular invitation style. I've already
spent 4+ hours searching for it online and found quite a few invites
that most would call similar, but aren't quite what I'm looking for.
If you were able to find an invitation with the same flowing
continuous vine pattern with the same shape of leaves, then I'd accept
the answer.

Most of the "similar" invites I've found are too cartoonish in style
or don't follow the same pattern (they may just have a single leaf or
two, but not the flowing, leafy vine pattern. I could email you a
picture of the beading on my dress, which is what I'm trying to match,
if it would be helpful.

Also, do you think it would be possible to get the original
invitations directly from the manufacturer? I also don't know why it's
been so hard to find even a single sheet of vellum paper in the
embossed vine pattern (as used in the invitation). I'd be willing to
make my own invitations out of the velum paper, if I could find it in
the pattern I'm looking for and in a reasonable size.

I hope this helps. If you need me to clarify any further, just let me
know (don't worry, I set up a filter for Google Answers emails).

Traci,

It might be possible to contact the manufacturer directly -- IF you
can get the name of the manufacturer from Callesta Creations.

After more than an hour of searching, I've found a couple of designs
in which you might be interested. If you'd be willing to accept one of
these as an Answer, I will be glad to post the details for you.
However, a more extensive search would not be supported by this
Question's listing fee.

Do you mean the ones pictured on the home page?
