I'd like to know how i can cure a condition of reduced platelet count
(suspision of Thrombocytopenia or ITP) without taking drugs or
steroids. I am a 45 y/o male and have been HIV+ for the past 2-3
years.

My CD4 cell count is relatively good (630) and my viral load is
49,000. my doc says i'm not yet in a condition to take drugs (HAART).
i keep a balanced diet and i'm generally healthy. In the last 4-8
weeks I have been experiencing a drastic drop in platelets and White
Blood Cells (WBC). I have gone down from my normal platelet count of
217,000 to 76,000 and my WBC dropped from 6.7 to 3.3.

I have been feeling very good lately despite this condition which was
discovered in my tri-monthly HIV blood work. I workout regularly and
avoid alcohol. I do however smoke 2-5 cigarettes a day. I take a large
variety of
supplements which included up till a few weeks ago ALA (Alpha Lipoic
Acid) which i hear can cause Thrombocytopenia. I stopped take ALA. I
also am using Homeopathy. I took a remedy called Nux Vomica, which i
stopped when i realisex my counts were dropping. My homeopath
perscribed a new remedy called Phosphorus to try and help the
platelats go up. it raised it almost immedietly to 100,000 (the WBC to
5) but then dropped to it's lowest a day later (as i said 76,000 and
WBC to 3.3). I read that Shark Liver Oil and Melatonin may help up the
count but i am eager to know if there are any other methods to heal
this condition (especially through homeopathy which i've been treated
with with relative success over the years). My doctor says i would
have to have a bone-marrow test to find out if the problem is from a
condition called ITP or simply that HIV has begun to bug my system and
I would therefore need to resort to HAART despite my relatively good
HIV counts.

i would also like to mention that my father suffers from Immune
Thrombocytopenia and gets IVIG (gama globulin) according to platelet
count.

You need to naturally improve your immune system by providing your
body with antioxidents that it needs. My sister has finished with her
3rd round of chemo and takes Juice Plus (8 caps a day - 4 is normal
intake for an adult). JP is whole food in capsules (17 fruits &
vegetables). Her blood work is extremely good and her white blood
count is never low. This will do it! We are living proof.
