What resources are available to find a senior level position in arts
administration or fund-raising/development in Lexington, Kentucky,
Frankfurt, or Louisville? I am moving from New York, where I work in this field.

Firstly, best of luck with your move!  Hopefully some of the tools
I've found will help with your jobhunt.  There are plenty of online
job search pages.

These services are almost taking over from more traditional jobfinding
methods, like newspaper classifieds.  In fact, many sites take their
job listing directly from newspapers, but with the added advantages of
search capabilities.

Many job search websites have jobs sorted into categories and
locations.  I found some difficulties with this, especially looking
for a job which doesn't fit neatly into a category.  On some sites you
can select more than one category.

Some of these sites are easier to use than others.  I tried several of
them, and one of the easiest I found was Hot Jobs, a Yahoo! service,
which has a great search function.

The reason I prefer this page is the options available, including
location, keyword and level (i.e., senior).  The Job Categories can be
combined to refine the search; a nice touch.

Careerbuilder.com also has a good search function and a large database
of jobs.  The Advanced Search page is at

I also looked at America's Job Bank, which advertises itself as the
largest database of jobs online.  I did a search using the Keyword
function, searching for any of "arts administration development
fundraising fund raising" and using Kentucky as location, and came up
with two listings which may be of interest to you.
