I have recently been given a Breitling J Class Men's Watch (Quartz) I have
been trying to findout any info on this watch through the net and
groups but cannot find anything out.

Description:
Stainless Steel and yellow gold bracelet; SS case; Yellow gold and
blue enamel on bezel. White Sapphire face with three smaller dials in
triangle with two at 10 and 2 and then one at 6 position. Also date
window at 4:30.

The only rumor I have about this watch was that it was made in limited quantity
and in Europe and therefore very rare in US.

Dear smncdm,

Though I have not found much information on that discontinued,
expensive watch - all found was a photo and a brief text on a Spanish
site with consumer's opinions on products -, I managed to locate the
manufacturer. If anyone can provide you information on that watch,
it's the company of origin.

Would contact information (address, phone, fax, e-mail, website) of
the manufacturer be a useful answer for you?

Regards,
Scriptor

Well I already know Breitling USA and Europe and their sites do not
give any info on this watch. If you had an email address that is used
for answering this type of question by Breitling, then that would be
good. Would a picture of the watch help?

This is the Breitling e-mail address used for inquiries:

info@breitling.com

Please try it and write them. However, if you prefer, you can also send them a fax:
+41-32-654-54-00

Or call them on the phone:
+41-32-654-54-54

The +41 represents the country code for Switzerland. For calling from
the USA, it would be 01141.

In case of success, please let me know and I will make this a regular answer.

Regards,
Scriptor

Hi I have this watch also I have it with the white face a blue enamel
bezel with gold and with the chrono I dont have the metal bracelet I
have the leather strap. The three dials you have in the watch is the
chronograph. If you want information on this watch go to breitling.com
and contact the number for the head office in the U.S. and read them
the serial number in the back and they will tell you how much its
worth. This watch is pretty rare I only know one other person with a J
class the value of your watch when it was new in the late 90's was
about $4000.00 today I dont know what its worth if it went down it was
only a little bit.
