Hi Answerers,

I'm looking for some good Mercator Projection maps of Europe. I need
to do some latitude/longitude plotting on this map, and don't have
time to research the distortion calculations for now.

I found *exactly* what I'm looking for, but bummed that it's $200.

This is fantastic, but too pricey. I'd be willing to settle for a
JPEG that isn't even Europe-centered. It'd be nice to have choices,
but one good one is all I need.

Ideally, "Good" means to me:
  - Mercator projection
  - Some detail within Europe- country borders, some cities.
  - Aesthetically pleasing.
  - Free or cheap with licensing for noncommercial use.

I did some Googling of my own, but didn't come across anything good.
Any suggestions/resources?

Actually, I just realized that even Mercator projection will require
some calculation. Change this question to refer to equidistant
projection maps, please.
