Hello Mrcz

The official AOL advice for this problem can be found here:
http://help.channels.aol.com/article.adp?catId=1&sCId=416&sSCId=4093&articleId=217453

In brief this is what you have to do:

1) In Outlook Express click Tools and then choose Accounts

2) In the Internet Accounts dialog box, click Add then Mail

3) In the Internet Connection Wizard, enter your name in the box then click Next

4) Enter your email address in the box and click Next

5) Select IMAP from the drop-down menu

6) The incoming server field should read: imap.aol.com

7) The outgoing field should read: smtp.aol.com

8) Click next

9) On the Internet Mail Logon screen, enter your AOL screen name in
the Account name field, enter the AOL password in the Password field
and click Next, then Finish.

10) Click the Mail tab in the Internet Accounts Box opened in step 1

11) Select your AOL IMAP account and click Properties

12) Click the Servers tab and check the "authentification" check box

13) Click Apply, then click the Advanced tab

14) In the Outgoing mail (SMTP): field, change the number that displays to 587.

15) Click Apply, then click the IMAP tab

16) Deselect the "Store special folders on IMAP server" check box

17) Click Apply, then OK and finally Close.

You should hopefully now be able to access your emails via Outlook Express.

If you have any questions regarding this, please ask for clarification
and I will do my best to help.
