i own a sony fvp-1 digital video printer but cant find my software.  i
cant save photos to a floppy without that software.  i need that
software. how do i find the compatible sony printer utility?

I believe I've found what you want.  Go to Sony's Direct Accessories &
Parts Center ( http://servicesales.sel.sony.com/ ), and type fvp-1
(with no quotation marks around it) under "Search by Model for
Accessories".   On the resulting page, you should find "CD-ROM,DIG.
COLOR PRINTER UTLY," item number 464008701, available for $28.95.

Oh, I see, you wanted a download (and presumably a free download). 
You didn't say that in the initial question.

Well, I could look for a download, if you'd like.  I'm not sure
whether a free download is available, and I doubt it, since Sony is
selling replacement software.

exactly the right answer.  i was looking for a download since i
already paid for the software when i bought the printer.
