What is the name of a gear system that has one tooth on the primary
gear and it trips the secondary gear to move a small amount and then
lock up in both directions? The ratio is 14:1. The secondary gear has
two levels of teeth on it creating the locking effect. This type of
gear system can be found on a 1989 735i BMW in the sunroof motor
switch timing if you want to see it. I need to know the name of the
gear system so I can order a bigger set for a project that I'm working
on.
