My mother was born in a "home for unwed mothers" in Kansas City
Missouri. Is that any way that I can find out anthing about her
mother? Who would be my grandmother. She was born was around 1920.
The home is no longer there. I can supply the name of the place etc.
if there is a possibility that it would help. Or, should I just
forget it.

What was the name of the home? I have done extensive research for my
own geneology and I think that I could help you figure this problem
out, given the correct information.
