I wish to find the recipe for whitening discoloured golf balls. I use
Clorox for some but I know there is a process involving peroxide and
sun-light. I especially need the amount of chemical used and length of
exposure?

http://www.recipegoldmine.com/house/house136.html might be might be
useful...although I don't know what "whitening" refers to, I would
think that just implies general whitening solution, such as bleach.
(but never mix ammonia and bleach, causes toxic gasses). any recipie
you find will probably be very similar ingrediants. let me know if
that helps?

Hi
Thanks for the try. The balls that I'm talking about are recovered
from the water hazards on golf courses. They have a vaneer or clear
coat finish when new. The manufacturer does not usually put in a a uv
blocker so that the balls outer layer or finish will turn brown over
time esp. when exposed to water and sun.I know this can be reversed
with a peroxide or some other chemical and wish to find a detailed
explaination of how this is applied, if possible. I will pay more if
need be.
 Thank you for your assistance.
  Craig.
