We are about to do a deal with a DVD distributor. We shot and
produced the DVD--it is retail ready and selling quite well on the
internet. We are also running commericial spots. The deal that was
presented to us provides us with 18% on a wholesale price of
13.00-9.01. The percentage escalates to 30% after selling 60,000
units. What is a fair royalty rate considering that the product has
already had some sucess in terms of our own publicity and promotion
efforts--we will continue promoting and running commericals--even
after the deal is completed and feel this should be considered.

Please provide information in terms of royalty rates as it relates to
a successful product for DVD distribution. Also in terms of sales
agent fees--what is the typical fee that agents should receive?
