In Og Mandino?s book, 'A Better Way to Live', he writes:
Despite a long and illustrious career, rewarded by both worldly
recognition and material goods, a great American comic recently
admitted in an interview that he?s never been secure with his success.
He said, "I get the feeling that I'm going to wake up one morning and
it's all going to be gone. Someone's going to say, 'That's it fella,
it's all over for you.'" And so, although past age sixty, this
multitalented man continues to run, like Pakhom, making endless
appearances in theatres, nightclubs, movies, and television. His fans
are glad he does, but I wish he'd also stop and smell those roses now
and then, before the petals all blow away.
