I'm researching the Walker Rail Motor made in UK maybe 1950s - then
sent to Newport Railyards in Melbourne Australia for the body work.

Can you assist in the i.d of the British Manufacturer with photos of
the rail car (two types - 240hp and 120hp).

Hello Damian

I've found a few references to 153 hp and 280 hp Walker rail motors
from the late 1940s and early 1950s.  They were finished at Newport.
Could they be what you're looking for?

If so, I can tell you the UK manufacturer, but there are only one or
two photos available online.
