I am an international student on a F-1 visa, and am planning to leave
the US on Aug 1st. I plan to gift my car to my brother who is coming
to the US on August 10th. The car is registered and titled in Ohio but
he is going to be using it in Massachuttes, so the title would have to
be tranferred there. I have a lien on the car which i plan to pay off
but i don't have enough time to get the lien removed from the title, i
don't think - I am the sole title holder, BTW. My question is - what
do I need to do to tranfrer the title over to him and what does he
need to do in order to get the car titled and registered in his name
in MA? Also, since this is a gift what are the regulations or
paperwork required for that? Also, does me being outside the country
affect the transfer? My lender is Toyota Financial Services. Thanks.
