It is between $6000 and $8000. I do not own a home, I am paying for a
car, no credit cards at all.

If you are 'paying for a car', the chances are that you will lose the
car if you file for bankruptcy ...

But filing for bankruptcy is not a good idea because that would
inhibit the possibilities for getting credit in future when, maybe,
you would want to buy a home or whatever.

Why not sell the car? And start cutting down on your expenses?

Thanks for the help. I travel about 110 miles a day round trip, so I
cannot sell my car. And I've been forced to cut down. I had no
choice. I want the calls to stop, harrasment etc. I want to pay
them, but can't take care of everything at one time. The interest
alone took 3/4 of my pay check.

Please provide the details ...

How much are you earning?

What are your outgoings, other than the Loan stuff?

What are you required to pay on the Loans and How Much of that is Interest?

Could you not get a cheaper place? Perhaps nearer to your place of work?

Or, even if it's not cheaper, if it's nearer your place of work, maybe
you could get rid of the car until you have sorted yourself out.

These are only random thoughts but need the detail to make some more
relevant suggestions.
