I have found no evidence that would indicate that this is a legitimate
bank. There are several warning signs here:
The domain name was purchased only a little more than a week ago (June 5, 2004).
The site's registrant and administrative contact, Folajimi King, uses
an email address from Yahoo. Frankly, I can't imagine a bank's
administrative contact using a Yahoo email address. Furthermore,
Folajimi King's street address, as listed when he registered the
domain name, is fictitious. He claims to live in 'Tudaur, Georgia"
with a ZIP code of 30084. There is no Tudaur in Georgia. The ZIP code
belongs to Tucker, Georgia.
Folajimi King has also registered the domain name
dutchvirtualfinancecompanybv.com, using different contact information
(with a Hotmail email address this time). The "Dutch Virtual Finance
Company" has been associated with the Omega International Lottery
scam:
"Internationallotto is back up - was down for a while after
www.globaltrustandfinancebv.com (their earlier on-line Bank) was
delisted. These are creative guys. They list 4 winners with
e-addresses and a request not to e-mail them, so I did, and got a
fairly stock 'best thing since sliced bread' response from 3 of the 4
- interesting that the responses trickled in over 3 days, hmmm? Their
new on-line bank: www.dutchvirtualfinancecompanybv.com was registered,
again by Aplus.net (names4ever) and they are back in business. Suggest
you copy and paste the e-mail headers and send to abuse at the ISP's
in the string together with a complaint to Aplus.net, names4ever,
fraudwatch international and any one else peripheral - these are
serious guys and intent on serious scamming!"
POC: Omega International Lottery Scam

As mentioned above, this lottery scam previously used a fake online
bank whose URL was www.globaltrustandfinancebv.com. The address given
when that domain name was registered was 6855 Hayvenhurst Avenue, Van
Nuys, California 91406. The address given by Folajimi King when he
registered the "Dutch Virtual Finance" site was 6755 Hayvenhurst Ave,
Van Nuys, CA 91406. Mighty similar. The phone number (706)1234 x 712
is given in the registration for "Global Trust and Finance." "Dutch
Virtual Finance" gives as a phone number (706)1234 x 321.
I hope this isn't too convoluted to understand. Basically, what it
boils down to is that the person who is the administrative contact for
"Panatrust Bank" appears to have been involved in some shady dealings.
It is, of course, narrowly possible that there is more than one
Folajimi King, and that "Panatrust Bank" has no connection with the
lottery scammers. But all the signs point toward mistrusting this
"bank," and I think it would be prudent not to invest any money or
provide them with any information about your personal bank account.
