Almost all the search engines are intially reading HTML tags and then converting this into display. Do you require a code which read HTML tags from a specific URL? |

As of right now this type of search is something I too would like to do. Just as google allows you to search for text that appears in the URL or in a page title by using inurl:<search term> or intitle:<search term>, I would like to see a inhtml:<search term> functionallity. |

All search engine search the html code of web pages, rather than their actual displayed content. If you apply tricks like making the background color and content color as same and try to boost the keyword SE realize them and penalize you for similar staff. This proofs that SE does not bother of what is displayed content but it sees the code and then bother of giving more importance to displyed contents like Bold, headings.. Hope this helps Shabbir Bhimani |
