I am looking for a painting called The Peasant, which I believe is
done by the artist Diego Rivera. If you can provide me with a link to
an image of this painting, I would be most pleased. Also, if there is
a place that I can order posters/prints.

Could you be thinking of "Peasants" by Diego Rivera?

If this is not it, could you provide a description of the painting you're seeking?

Sorry, that's not it. I'm not even sure that diego rivera is the
correct artist, but it sounds right.

The picture is of a hispanic man in a large hat wrapped in a cloak.

I'm sure that the title is "The Peasant".

Sorry, that's not it. He's facing to the side, and he had some kind
of (possibly maroon?) cloak.

There was only one man in the picture.

i can, in fact, see everyone's comments/answers, and none of them are
the one i'm looking for. let's go over the facts once more:
it is a picture of a man wearing a cloak or blanket
his mouth is obscured by said cloak
it is called "the peasant". NOT
 a peasant, peasants, etc.

things i'm not sure of:
it may be done by diego rivera
the man may be wearing a large hat

Hi, compaqdrew,
I'm not a GA researcher, so I'm not sure you read my last comment.
The link I provided shows a picture that I believe is the one you are looking for.
Maybe Juggler could claryfy mu question. Did compaqdrew have access to
my first comment. If so, were you aware of it? What amazes me is that
when you (juggler)was clarifying the question, compaq replied, but
never replied to my comment.
Juggler, can you answer me? Had you access to my second comment?

luntes:

Yes, your comment would have been visible to compaqdrew.

Compaqdrew's statement, "There was only one man in the picture,"
appears to be in response to your comment.

Regards,
juggler
