Question ID: 362023
How do I assign a specific printer to a Word 2003 template so that
when I run the merge the document automatically goes to the correct
printer on our network?

For example:

Template1 Letter goes to the HP Laserjet 8000
Template2 Envelope goes to the HP Deskjet printer
Template3 Sales Brochure goes to the Xerox Color Laser printer

I am not a programmer and do not want to write code.

I've done this:

Open the template as a *.dot

Change the printer settings for the document (choose the printer
and/or tray for the default printer (the one of your choice). Save the
*.dot and save the changes.

It works, its simple, and it requires no programming.
