I do not mean to sell you anything :), I saw that comment in the Tips
section, but my question is regarding me opening a new business, and
in need of advice. I apologize for the length!

I have recently started a new business together with my father. We are
marketing a new patent pending software solution in the marketing
communication field. What the software basicaly does is frame the
daily outgoing e-mails from a company with pre-prepared templates
(with a logo, branding, promotions, images). Only the recipient sees
the e-mail in its new form (the employee who wrote it doesn't know it
has been framed). These frames or images inside them are also
clickable and connected to web-pages in the Internet, so one could get
recipients to his web-site.

 The idea is that the marketing manager of the firm decides on the
periodicaly changing promotions, and has a centralized control of the
frames. The software also allows the marketing manager to perform a
segmantation and attach different "frames" to specific target groups
of recipients, and set time frames and frequencies of attachments
(i.e. recipient X won't recieve a framed e-mail more than 3 times a
week).
 
 If I could pinpoint the software's benefits, I would say it:
 
 1. Enhances branding and corporate identity.
 2. Creates a new cost-effective targeted direct promotional channel.
 3. Increases website entrances and supplies statistics reports (even
database f people who pressed a specific image).
 4. Creates a huge sales team from your workforce (every employee
sends your marketing messages in his regular e-mails).
 
When I sell this product in my country I go to the marketing managers
of firms as opposed to IT people who don't realize benefits such as
branding etc..

I am looking for resellers/distributors, that would market my software
(it is actually an integrated system, software+hardware), have access
to marcom managers in as many firms as possible (1000's), be able to
anually maintain the systems and give tech support (or find a 3rd
party that will), and basicaly take this as a business in its country.
It could also be a partner that is already marketing products
(marketing oriented software, or something else) to different
companies, and can take this new product into his array and use his
network to distribute it.


My question is, what would be the profile of such a reseller, that
would make the job fit to it like a glove?

After a series of meetings with top people in ad agencies, I can say
the feedback is near perfect. However, I am still at very early stages
and this question is my top priority.
