I'm looking for a specific painting. It is a painting (or print) of a little boy standing on the toilet with his little pants around his ankles peeing on the floor. I thought it was a Norman Rockwell at the time; but, I've checked out all his stuff. It's not; but, it has that Norman Rockwell feel to it. Who was the painter, and where (on-line)can I go to order a print? a print? |

My best guess is that you're looking for one of Georges Redon's works. In the 1920s, the French artist Georges Redon created a series of charming images depicting youngsters urinating. Because of today's concerns about pedophilia, such images are no longer widely distributed, and it isn't easy to find any of Redon's "Pipi" works anymore. You can read more about Redon here: http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg.tcl?msg_id=004TSS |

I don't think this is it. I haven't seen a description in the link you suggested that matches the description of the print I want. The limited pictures I see don't have the Rockwell *feel* to them. |
