At the present time, how many Americans are actively dieting? (Please
note, I am looking for a referenceable citation no more than 6 months
old that quantifies the number of people in the US (global figures
would be great as well but are not required) who are taking specific,
actionable steps to reduce their caloric intake, with an eye towards
losing weight.  Per this screen, the 58% and 27% figures quoted in
Time's recent cover story on
obesity are not of interest to me)
