My wife's Permanent Resident Card says "Category IR6". I would like a
list of the category codes and meanings for Permanent Resident Cards.
I would like to see something in a federal government document, like
the Federal Register, the USCIS website, or something like that.

Hi tdelfuego,

These two sites describe category codes in general.

http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/cb/laws/fed_reg/fr111797a5.htm

http://www.dhs.state.mn.us/ECS/ReguProc/CM/MASTER10.HTM

Please let me know if you need further explanations.

Regards,
Rainbow

I actually previously found the second link that you posted by doing a
google search. That site, your first site, and another site I found
also had some info about government benefits. I need something more
than that because that is info from other government agencies, and
there is no telling if their info is current and correct. If these
government agencies have a list, then you would think that USCIS
publishes a list, and I want a reference to something from the USCIS.

Thanks, not as much as I wanted, but given the circumstances in which
the USCIS has decided to protect the public from this dangerous
information, I'm giving you 5 stars.
