I have found seven subdirectories of www.quietmemories.com, which
contain their own subdirectories or files, plus an eighth that appears
to require authorization, and a ninth that has no content. There is
also an image (the background images for the home page) that is not in
a subdirectory of the parent directory. Moreover, one of the
subdirectories contains two files which themselves refer to other
files -- for example, aboutus.html and my_resume.html -- which are not
in any of the subdirectories. (I have not found any subdirectories
for lee.quietmemories.com. I have determined that there was at least
one other person's name at that site, but I couldn't find
subdirectories for her portion of the site either.)
Would this information be a sufficient answer?

If you don't think that the answer I have proposed would be worth
$100, you can change the price of the question so that it reflects
what you believe it is worth. The following page explains how to do
that:
"Answers Help and Tips: What you can do once your question is asked"
[under "Change your question price"]
Google Answers

If you do change the price, you can also post a clarification here to
let me know whether I should post my answer.

Just to be clear, my proposed answer includes the nine subdirectories
as described in my original post -- seven of which you can click on
to see files within them -- plus the background image for the home
page which is not in a subdirectory. I don't know whether these are
all of the subdirectories and files that currently exist, but it is a
significant number of subdirectories and files in any event.

I was writing my last post just as you posted your own comment. You
haven't been charged $100 yet -- you will only be charged when I post
an answer. I will do that later today or tomorrow -- I have to leave
my computer now, but when I come back I can post.

Before I go, I'll just clarify that you won't be charged anything
above the $100 if I answer the question. There was a 50 cent fee when
you posted the question; but there is no additional fee now.

Hello catdavo,
The directories I've found on Quiet Memories are:
"Index of /applets"
http://www.quietmemories.com/applets/
"Index of /clipart"
http://www.quietmemories.com/clipart/
"Index of /images"
http://www.quietmemories.com/images/
"Index of /lee_davis_resume"
http://www.quietmemories.com/lee_davis_resume/
"Index of /navigation_bars"
http://www.quietmemories.com/navigation_bars/
Apparent "Index of /_private"
http://www.quietmemories.com/_private/
"Index of /scripts"
http://www.quietmemories.com/scripts/
"Index of /sitebuilder"
http://www.quietmemories.com/sitebuilder/
"Index of /sounds"
http://www.quietmemories.com/sounds/
On all of the pages, clicking on "Parent Directory" will take you back
to http://www.quietmemories.com/ .
On seven of the pages, there are also links to files or subdirectories
(the latter of which have their own subdirectories or files).
The directory "lee_davis_resume" lacks content.
The directory a typical user can't see -- which requires authorization
-- is "_private". (Many sites have a directory with this name; some
require authorization as in this case.)
In addition, the background image for the home page has the following URL:
"santa_monica_pier.jpg"
http://www.quietmemories.com/santa_monica_pier.jpg
At least if you're using Internet Explorer 6, you might want to open
the two files in "navigation_bars". Those pages refer to nine files
that are currently missing: "index.html"; "my_resume.html";
"job_description_by_position.html",
"activities_and_organizations.html"; "references.html"; "index2.html";
"services.html"; "aboutus.html"; "contactus.html". (Those files
should have the addresses http://www.quietmemories.com/index.html ,
http://www.quietmemories.com/my_resume.html , etc. But those
addresses, unlike the others I have listed, do not work.)
"lee_davis_resume.nav"
http://www.quietmemories.com/navigation_bars/lee_davis_resume.nav
"navbar.nav"
http://www.quietmemories.com/navigation_bars/navbar.nav
I hope that this information is helpful.

Search strategy:
I started with the source code for the home page (available by
clicking on View -> Source on the Internet Explorer 6 menu). The
source code indicates directories for "sounds" and "sitebuilder", and
a file for the background image.
After determining that those directories still exist, I looked for
typical directories on sites that use SiteBuilder by entering the
following search on Google:
"index of" "last modified" sitebuilder sounds
I viewed the cached versions of some of the results of that search.
They indicated several potential directories, many of which were on
Quiet Memories.
Through trial and error, I found the "lee_davis_resume" directory. |

If you search on Google currently for the term "quietmemories", you'll
see a reference to http://catherinespielberg.quietmemories.com .
However, the site does not load, and is not cached on Google (or
anywhere else that I am aware of).
No need to pay me for this additional bit of information; I had
referred to it in my initial request on June 18.
