Hi. What is the very best quality of paper that you can use for
printing your wedding invitations? I think that paper is graded by
"weight," which I assume means "thickness of the paper." I have
visited several stores that handle wedding invitations but haven't
found any stores that carry what I would consider "top of the line."
Is there one brand in particular that stands out in this area, such as
Crane? In other words, what is considered the "Mercedes Benz" of
paper used for wedding invitations? Thanks for any help you can
provide.

Just a thought, but are you certain you have your priorities right
here? I don't know if you are arranging a wedding, or whether you are
just curious.

Yes, good quality paper IS important, but much less important than
content and design. Find yourself a quality printer, arrange a nice
design and let THEM worry about the paper. I know some real snobs, but
very few of them would actually take things so far as to have
spectographic analysis of paper undertaken!
